GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 2004 Panoz GTS race car for your consideration. This car comes with an enclosed trailer as a package deal! This sweet track-only car is powered by a Ford Racing 351ci V8 motor that puts down 516 horsepower through a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ford 9” rear end. The motor was recently rebuilt and has only seen 900 miles since the rebuild was completed. The V8 motor features a DART block, MSD ignition system, and has a 7,000rpm redline. Accompanying the vehicle is a large box of invoices, receipts, and installation instructions that were kept following the build of this awesome race car. There is a Fuel Safe Systems 32 gallon Sportsman fuel bladder that was installed new in 2017.
This Panoz was built in 2017 with new body panels, a fresh motor, new fuel system, rebuilt brake calipers, and more. The motor fires up with an appropriate roar and settles quickly to idle. The clutch and transmission both are strong as well. The interior is completely gutted apart from the necessities. AutoMeter gauges help monitor the health of the motor with an oil pressure, water temperature, and oil temperature gauge. Also included is an AutoMeter speedometer and tachometer. Mounted to the steering column is a Stack ST8100 gauge display that can display a variety of statistics related to the cars performance on track. The Kirkey racing seat and G-Force racing harness are well designed to hold the driver safe in the unfortunate event of a crash.
